Two Sri Lankan women are the first to complete night skydiving in South Asia.

Two Sri Lankan Air Force officers, Coporal T.N.D.Hewagama and Aircraftswoman K.H.N.Ranasinghe, rewrote the history by becoming the first women in South Asia to successfully complete night skydiving on 19 October 2010.

In July 2010, Ranasinghe and Hewagama were the first women in South Asia to complete 200 parachute jumps.
