Guinness World Record for most cabinet ministers appointed by a Government

You may be already knowing this. But once I saw this, I was amazed. I was not aware that; it is official. Yes, We have already set the record of most number of cabinet ministers. We all know many Sri Lankan tries to Guiness world records from time to time. For that they spend lot of time, energy and money. Setting this record must not have been that difficult, at least for the owners of the record. But I do not think this will be broken by any other country.

Here is the Guinness certificate for this achievement.  The record for the most cabinet ministers in one country is 52, all of whom were appointed by President Mahinda Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka on 17 November 2005.

Still Mr. Pabilis De Silva’s milk rise is not listed. Sri Lanka also holds the world largest cup of tea. Dr. Jayalath Jayawardana holds the world record for world longest running medical show.
