Sri Lanka girl hit by train survive – Video

A video clip was shown in Sirasa TV news recently where a Sri Lankan girl who was knocked down by a train while walking on the railway track. This rare video was captured by Prabath Abeysiri who worked in the media unit of the Ministry of Indigenous Medicine. Prabath was interested to get a footage of the approaching train when he was in Idalgashinna station. He has gone to the area with Deputy Minister of Indigenous Medicine while on an inspection visit to “Halmadulla Osu Uyana”.
As shown in the video the girl was walking on a railway track which converge in to a live railway track. At that time Udarata Manika train was approaching Idalgashinna station and girl was knocked down at the converging point two railway tracks. Those who were present at the station rushed to her and tried to take her to the hospital. But she denied going to the Hospital saying that She is perfectly OK.
