Lasith Malinga’s All the Wickets in IPL 04

Indian Premier League 04 finished today. The finalist were Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chennai Super Kings were able to defend their title. Now Super Kings have won enough finals that you may get bored with IPL finals.

Indian Premier League started few days after the ICC Cricket world cup and during last few weeks cricket fans from all around the world were again busy with IPL T20 excitement. Many Sri Lankan players also were part of this series. Former Sri Lankan captains Kumar Sangakkara lead the Deccan Charges team and Mahela Jayawardane lead the Kochi Tuskers Kerala team. Current Sri Lankan captain Thilakaratha Dilshan represented the finalist Royal Challenges Bangalore. Suraj Randiv, Thisara Perera, Nuwan Pradeep, Dilhara Fernando were other Sri Lankan players who were part of this IPL. But it was Lasith Malinga, the Sri Lankan ace fast bowler who were shining most. he was able to keep the purple cap with him during entire tournament and he finished with 28 wickets. Many of the wickets were direct balled outs against Malinga’s dangerous toe crushers.

During the latter part of the tournament, it was clearly evident that batsmen had the strategy of just playing Malinga’s overs on merit without losing wickets to him. Otherwise Malinga would have taken more wickets. So folks let’s get ready to watch the video, and I know not only Sri Lankan but each and every Mumbai Indian supporter love to see these again and again. So why don’t you share this post with your friends after watching the video?
