Ridee Rayak 2012 musical night was held recently at Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksha theater complex. The recorded musical night was telecast in Independent Television channel February 05, 2012. Cinestar foundation has been organizing Ridee Rayak program for last few years. This is the ninth time Sri Lankan artists rallied together staging Ridee Rayak. It is a project of Sri Lankan film stars to raise funds for Sri Lankan artists’ betterment. Specially, the fundings are used in health expenses and life insurances for the artists. Sri Lanka Telecom and Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel sponsored this year event.

Suresh Gamage, Roshan Ranawana, Nilanthi Dias, Rexs Kodippilli, Veena Jayakody, Pubudu Chathuranga, Sheshadri Priyasad, Wasantha Kumarawila, Sachini Ayendra, Suraj Mapa, Saranga Disasekara, Roshan Pilapitiya, manjula Kumari, Niroshan Wijesingha, Chathurika Peiris, Anusha Damayanthi, Sarath Kothalawala, Anura Bandara Rajaguru, Shriyantha Mendis, Kusum Renu, Sangeetha Weerarathna, Paboda Sandeepani, Kanchana Mendis, Damitha Abeyrathna, Shriyani Amarasena, Malani Fonseka, Jeewan Kumarathunga, Ravindra Randeniya, Robi Fernando, Cletus Mendis, Roy De Silva, Himali Sayurangi, Upeksha Swarnamali, Anarkali Akarsha, Premadasa Vithanage, Hemantha Iriyagama, Saliya Kumarasiri, Wilson Karunarathna, Dilhani Asokamala and Sumana Amarasinghe.

Music direction was done by Jananath Warakagoda. Vajira Jayawardana and Kalum Shrimal were the announcers in the ridee rayak nine. Channa-Upuli dancing group joined the film artists on the stage and Channa Wijewardana was the main choreographer of the event. Executive Director – Sandaruwan Jayawickrama.
